THE STORY

One of the last distilleries to malt all its own barley, Springbank is the hand-made cult dram of Scotland. Salted caramel, brine and a gloriously oily texture.

Nose

Brine, toffee, orange marmalade, faint smoke.

Palate

Thick, oily; tangerine, salted caramel, dark chocolate.

Finish

Long, with salt, toasted oak and a whisper of peat.

Aging process

Matured in a selection of sherry and bourbon casks; bottled in limited batches.

Terroir & region

The Kintyre peninsula. Floor-malted barley, a unique 2.5× distillation and no automation.

Rare bottle spotlight

Springbank 15 is released in tiny batches and regularly sells out within hours. Distillery staff still turn the barley by hand on the malting floors.

The club never sells bottles. Hunt responsibly — and beware of counterfeit listings.
