THE STORY

The Glenlivet is the benchmark for light, floral Speyside malt. Eighteen years brings a layered, orchard-fruit richness with the oak sitting firmly in the background.

Nose

Orchard apple, ripe pear, honeycomb, a touch of marzipan.

Palate

Silky; baked apple, orange peel, toasted almond and gentle spice.

Finish

Long and mellow, dried fruit and warm oak.

Aging process

Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks for eighteen years in the Livet glen.

Terroir & region

River Livet water and the glens of Speyside create the soft, fruity new-make that defines the region.
