THE STORY
Mount Gay claims the oldest rum in the world (1703). XO is a blend of aged rums from eight to fifteen years.
Nose
Banana, vanilla, toasted oak, dried fruit.
Palate
Spice, caramel, coconut, toasted wood.
Finish
Smooth, long and gently sweet.
Aging process
Aged in ex-bourbon American whiskey barrels and finished in charred oak for toasty richness.
